  • We offer a range of program’s designed to meet your needs. Board and training is best for those who need help quickly and lack time to work with their dog daily. This program is also best for more difficult behavior modification is consistency is key to success.

Private training is great for those local to Gettysburg, Pennsylvania and surrounding areas who have time to meet weekly with a trainer and practice in between. Best for simple to moderate behavior issues like leash pulling, basic commands, recall etc.

  • Yes. Our training is designed so your dog responds to you, not just the trainer. We focus on clear communication, structure, and follow-up lessons to ensure skills transfer to the home. Ongoing consistency from the owner is key to long-term results.

Consistency matters. Dogs don’t magically stay trained forever without follow-through. Training gives you the tools, results last when you use them.

  • Our training programs start at $800, with pricing varying based on chosen programs.

  • Yes! Potty training is something we work on frequently with puppies. One of the most common struggles.

Puppy potty training is best addressed through:

    • Board & Train programs, where routines are consistent and structured

    • Virtual training, where we coach you step-by-step in real time.

Potty training is not about gimmicks or shortcuts. It’s about timing, management, routines, and understanding your puppy’s signals. We focus on building habits that actually stick — not just temporary fixes.

  • Your dog stays at our home with us, not in a kennel facility where staff only visit during business hours. We typically only have 4 dogs here at a time for the most intimate 1 on 1 experience.

    This allows us to:

    • Work on real-life household behaviors

    • Provide crate training, manners, and structure

    • Give dogs individualized attention throughout the day

Dogs rotate between training, rest, enrichment, and downtime — just like a healthy home routine should look.

  • This is the most common concern, and don’t worry, we get it! Luckily, dogs don’t process time or separation the way humans do. While it’s normal for a dog to miss their owner briefly, they quickly adapt to structure, routine, and engagement. They don’t dwell on it, they live in the moment!

    Most dogs:

    • Settle in within the first day or two.

    • Become confident and comfortable through routine within the first week.

    • Benefit from the mental stimulation and consistency

We prioritize your dog’s emotional wellbeing and make sure they feel safe, secure, and cared for throughout their stay. We also send frequent photo/video updates.

  • Of course they will! Dogs never forget their owners, regardless of how long it’s been. They will enjoy their time but also be happy to see you when they go home.

  • We use balanced, success-based training methods tailored to each individual dog. We believe in using all quadrants of dog training. Simply put we use rewards and corrections always in a safe and humane manner.

No two dogs are the same, and training should never be one-size-fits-all.

  • We do not use “shock collars.” This a propaganda term started in the later 2010s.

We do use e-collars as a communication tool in most cases, at low levels, and only when a dog is ready. An e-collar is not a punishment device it’s a way to provide clear, consistent feedback once a dog understands a behavior. Especially useful for off leash training!

Tools are never used as shortcuts, threats, or replacements for training.
